Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. The petitioner was engaged as a Home Guard on temporary basis in the district of Nadia only for certain election periods. He has preferred this writ petition for absorption into the forces. He was employed on a temporary basis and is presently over- aged as the maximum limit for absorption into the Home Guard service is forty years and he is admittedly fifty years old. 3. There is absolutely no entitlement of the petitioner to be absorbed into the said forces. He has last served in the forces sometime in 2004. 4. Thus, the writ petition does not disclose any right of the petitioner and cannot be considered for absorption into the forces. 5. In the circumstances aforestated, the writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed. 2 6. There will be no order as to costs. 7.
