This appeal is directed against the order dated 27.11.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Gumla in A.B.P. No. 484 of 2025 arising out of Raidih P.S. Case No. 63/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that two new born babies were sold by Suman Ekka and Karina Bhagat. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellants that they have adopted the children by virtue of an agreement entered into with Karina Bhagat. Learned submits that subsequently the babies were recovered. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellants. The agreement itself reveals that the new born babies were in custody of the appellants. The mere agreement does not give an enforceable right of adoption. Considering the direct nexus of the appellants in purchasing the new born babies, we are not inclined to interfere with the order dated 27.11.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Gumla in A.B.P.
