Heard on the application seeking extension of time to conclude the pending proceedings. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that in WP227 No. 898 of 2025, vide order dated 11.09.2025, a direction was issued to the concerned Family Court to make all endeavours to conclude the proceedings in the pending GWOP expeditiously. He would contend that though the order was passed in the month of September, 2025, the matter is still pending consideration before the said Court. It is contended that the respondents have moved one interim application after another seeking temporary custody, thereby delaying the conclusion of the proceedings. Therefore, a direction may be issued to conclude the proceedings within a stipulated period. 3. It is also submitted that the parties have not yet led their evidence before the concerned Family Court. 4. Heard. 5. Having considered the submissions made by Mr. Saxena and reasons assigned in the application, prayer is allowed. The concerned Family Court is directed to conclude the pending proceedings within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, MCC stands disposed of.
