The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents have been duly served. The State and the District Primary School Council, Jalpaiguri are represented by their respective learned advocates. The petitioner states that though the petitioner applied for appointment in a Bengali Medium Primary School after having qualified in primary TET, 2014 but was appointed in a Hindi Medium school. The petitioner states that since the academic background of the petitioner and the teaching language is Bengali, petitioner is facing practical difficulty in discharging her duties as a teacher in a Hindi Medium Institution. 2 Petitioner submitted a representation before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Jalpaiguri by a letter dated March 7, 2026 praying for consideration of the prayer of the petitioner for transfer to a Bengali Medium Primary School. Mr. Lahiri, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that under similar circumstances the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Jalpaiguri issued a transfer order in favour of one teacher, namely, Mita Sinha. Mr. Lahiri draws the attention of the Court to the Memo No.392/1(6) dated February 25, 2026. Heard the learned advocates for the State and District Primary School Council, Jalpaiguri. Without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the representation dated March 7, 2026, WPA 933 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Jalpaiguri, being the respondent no.6 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated March 7, 2026 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of 4 weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this 3 order together with the copy of the representation dated March 7, 2026.
