Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for five months, charge-sheet has been submitted and there is no possibility of the trial being concluded very soon. As such, the petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. along with the statement of the neighbours. The case is yet to be committed to the Court of Sessions. Accordingly, I direct that the petitioner be better advised to approach this Court after the stage of consideration are over. At this stage, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 2 Accordingly, CRM (M) 1242 of 2026 is dismissed at this stage. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
