The petitioner’s prayer seeking transfer made in the year 2021 was rejected on the ground that he does not fall within 10% maximum limit as per the General Transfer Rule, 2015. The petitioner prays for transfer. It appears that a considerable period of time has elapsed after his application for transfer stood rejected. 2. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to file fresh application seeking transfer in accordance with law in the online mode. 3. In the event online mode is non-functional, then the petitioner may file his application in the prescribed format in the offline mode. 4. If such application is made, it shall be considered by the authority strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from filing of the application. 5. The fate of the application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 2 6. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay. 7. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
