Learned advocate therefore prays that the petitioner may be released on bail on any stringent condition. None appears on behalf of the State. The records of the case reflect that there has been recovery of 2 kg 915 gm of brown sugar and other materials including 5 kg 900 gm of sodium carbonate for preparation of the contraband. Having considered the quantum of seizure, I am of the opinion that the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted, as such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.
