ORAL ORDER The captioned writ petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.4 – Station House Officer to consider and act upon the representation submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law. 2. Learned AGA appearing for the respondents has filed a memo along with an endorsement dated 12.03.2026 issued by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hoskote Sub-Division, which is taken on record.
A perusal of the said endorsement indicates that, pursuant to the petitioner’s representation, both the petitioner and the contesting opposite parties were summoned and heard. It is further revealed that the Deputy Superintendent of Police has cautioned and warned the opposite parties against indulging in any unlawful activities. The endorsement also records that liberty is reserved to the petitioner to lodge an appropriate complaint in accordance

with law, in the event of any untoward incident or recurrence of grievance in future. 3. In view of the aforesaid development, this Court is of the considered opinion that the grievance ventilated by the petitioner stands substantially redressed by the intervention of the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police. Accordingly, the endorsement dated 12.03.2026 is taken on record and the writ petition does not survive for further consideration. The petition is, therefore, disposed of.
