Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as other accused person namely, Madan Das who has been granted bail in CRM (M) 624 of 2026. Petitioner is in custody since November, 2025 and charge-sheet has already been submitted, as such he may be granted bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail, however, is unable to refute the locus of the present petitioner and Madan Das. Having considered the materials appearing in the Case Diary, I am of the opinion that present petitioner namely, Ananta Das be released on bail on same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Madan Das, the other accused person in CRM (M) 624 of 2026 Accordingly, CRM (M) 1239 of 2026 is allowed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
