Vishal Kumar … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 11 months and has been implicated for alleged recovery of 404 gm of heroin. Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that after submission of the charge-sheet, charges have been framed and witness action has already been commenced. Learned advocate also submits that the seizure list witnesses have supported the prosecution’s case. I have considered the chemical examiner’s report which do not aid the present petitioner. Having regard to the totality of the circumstances, I am of the opinion that the prosecution be given an opportunity to expedite the process of trial to take same to its logical conclusion. 2 At this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1074 of 2026 is dismissed.
