For the alleged contemnor This is a contempt proceeding arising from an order dated June 25, 2024. The petitioner had taken out an interlocutory application praying for amendment of contempt application. By an order dated July 3, 2026 the amendment was allowed subject to payment of cost directed therein. Today Mr. Shahan Shah, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has produced the money receipt showing deposit of cost. The same is taken on record. However, at this juncture, Mr. Prantik Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor submits that, the compliance report by way of an affidavit affirmed by the alleged contemnor on July 2, 2 2026 is already on record showing compliance of the direction of this Court. Mr. Shahan Shah, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has also confirmed the fact that, the direction of this Court has been complied with. He submits that, there is no requirement to proceed with the proceeding any further. In view of the above, the contempt proceeding being CPAN 1810 of 2024 stands dropped and closed. The application being CPAN 1810 of 2024 stands disposed of. Consequently, IA No. CAN 1 of 2026 also stands disposed of. (Aniruddha Roy, J.)
