Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. The petitioner seeks transfer. His application was forwarded in the year 2022 by the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), South 24- Parganas to the head of the institutions of four schools which the petitioner preferred. Despite forwarding the request for making temporary arrangement so that the petitioner gets accommodated in any of the schools, the prayer of the petitioner seeking transfer was not acted upon. 3. The petitioner insists for transfer. 4. It appears that a considerable period of time has elapsed from the date the application was made by the petitioner. There may have been change in the circumstances in the meantime. 5. The instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to file fresh application seeking transfer in accordance with law in the online mode. 2 6. In the event online mode is non-functional, then the petitioner may file his application in the prescribed format in the offline mode. 7. If such application is made, it shall be considered by the authority strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from filing of the application. 8. The fate of the application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 9. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay. 10. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 11.
