The State of West Bengal Mr. Debapriya Samanta, Mr. Akash Kumar Chakraborty, Mr. Sabyasachi Howlader ……for the Petitioners Mr. Suman Chakraborty …for the State The present revisional application has been filed challenging the orders dated September 1, 2025 and December 2, 2025, whereby warrants of arrest, proclamation and attachment were issued against the petitioners. By an order dated April 17, 2026, this Court stayed the operation of the aforesaid orders dated September 1, 2025 and December 2, 2025 for a period of eight weeks from the date of the order or until further orders, whichever was earlier. It appears that, during the pendency of the present revisional application, the petitioners filed an application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1301 of 2026. The said application was rejected by a learned Single Judge of this Court by order dated June 16, 2026. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are now inclined to surrender before the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lalbagh, Murshidabad. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing further survives for consideration in the present revisional application. Accordingly, the petitioners are granted liberty to surrender before the Learned Magistrate within a period of one week from date. Upon such surrender, the Learned Magistrate shall proceed with the matter strictly in accordance with law. Accordingly, CRR 1515 of 2026 and CRAN 1 of 2026 stand disposed of.
