The petitioner, who retired from the post of Principal, Government JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2026.07.24 10:57:48 +0530 2 / 3 High School, Parath, Block Baramkela, upon attaining the age of superannuation, has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent authorities for release of his retiral dues, particularly the General Provident Fund (GPF) amount. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that all the retiral dues, except the GPF amount, have already been released in favour of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the State Government has constituted a High Power Pension Redressal Committee for redressal of grievances relating to retiral dues of retired employees, wherein the representatives of the Office of the Accountant General are also members. He submits that the grievance of the petitioner may appropriately be considered by the said Committee in accordance with law. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 4. Considering the nature of the grievance raised and the submission made on behalf of the respondents, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, the petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the writ petition before the Office of the Advocate General within 15 days from today. On receipt thereof, the Office of the Advocate General shall forthwith forward the same to the High Power Pension Redressal Committee. The Committee shall thereafter consider and decide the petitioner's grievance regarding release of the GPF amount, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the concerned Department and the Office of the Accountant General, by passing an 3 / 3 appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a further period of 60 days. 5.
