AD 54 July 15, 2026 Ct. 35 SG CRM(NDPS) 1066 of 2026 Allowed An application for bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Raghunathganj PS Case No.963 of 2025 dated 27.07.2025 under Section 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act. And In the matter of: Jiabul Sk. @ Jiabur Sk. … petitioner Mr. Dhananjay Banerjee Mr. J.I. Hossain … for the petitioner Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, ld. App Mr. Utsav Dutta … for the State Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor along with Mr. Utsav Dutta, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State. Their appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused who has been granted bail in CRM(NDPS) 928 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that the petitioner is not similarly situated as the other accused who has been granted bail. Having considered that Masadul Sk is similarly placed as the petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the petitioner, namely, Jiabul Sk. @ Jiabur Sk. be 2 released on bail on same terms and conditions by the learned trial court as was imposed upon Masadul Sk. in CRM(NDPS) 928 of 2026. Thus, CRM(NDPS) 1066 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
