JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:- “a) To issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent University to regularize service of the Petitioner against sanctioned / vacant posts of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in ‘University Law College’ & ‘PG Department of Law, Jnanabharathi, Bangalore University, Bengaluru. b) Grant such other suitable reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit, in the circumstances of the case.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and learned AGA for respondent No.3 and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her representation dated 30.01.2026 at Annexure-A submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20303 WP No. 7187 of 2026 has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider her representation dated 30.01.2026 at Annexure-A and pass appropriate order / take appropriate decision, if not already passed as on today, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In the event, if respondents have already passed the appropriate orders/taken appropriate decision, liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to file fresh petition. 7.
