APP Ms. Triparna Roy … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for more than four years and only seven witnesses have been examined out of the 84 witnesses cited by the prosecution. The prosecution’s story relate to a mobile set and motor cycle being robbed of at the behest of the present petitioners and another person. Learned advocate for the State produces the post- mortem report and insists that two individuals were murdered in the present case. One of the accused was identified in the T.I. Parade. 2 I have considered the manner in which the two deceased were assaulted to death. Having considered the materials collected by the investigating agency which prima facie points to the present petitioners; the complicity of the present petitioners and the heinousness of the present offence particularly the manner in which the two persons were put to death including the one being 85-year-age, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail as the consequences are grave. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2928 of 2025 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted be kept with the record.
