Tapas Das Mr. Rabindranath Mahato Mr. Aritra Shankar Ray ….for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court at Paschim Medinpur to dispose of Misc. Appeal No.47 of 2026 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that September 2, 2026 has been fixed for hearing of the miscellaneous appeal. He further submits that the appeal is otherwise ready for hearing. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate for the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this civil revisional application along with this order upon the opposite party or the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 2200 of 2026 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court at Paschim Medinpur to take up the hearing of the miscellaneous appeal on the next 2 date fixed i.e. on September 2, 2026, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing, and to make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible but preferably within a period of six (6) months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
