Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner, State respondents and respondent no.9. 2. Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that being successor-in-interest of the plaintiff in Title Suit No.128 of 1970 he has a right of possession of the pond in question and he is doing pisciculture over there. 3. However, allegation is made against respondent no.9 to the extent that respondent no.9 is obstructing the petitioner from doing pisciculture which prompted the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition seeking direction upon the concerned police authorities to provide police protection to him. 4. Learned advocate representing respondent no.9 submits that neither he is claiming right over the pond in question nor he is disturbing petitioner from doing pisciculture at the said pond. 5. In view of submission of respondent no.9 no order need be passed save and except directing the police authorities to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and keep vigil. 6. The writ petition stands disposed of. 7. State has filed a communication dated 30th March, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Debra Police Station, Paschim Medinipur and same is taken on record. 8.
