As prayed for by Ms. Nag, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners leave is granted to add the Project Manager, Paschim Bardhaman, Field Zonal Office, Spondon Complex, West Bengal as a party respondent in the writ petition. 3. The petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration of the petitioners’ representation seeking compensation for drawing high tension transmission line over the petitioners’ land by the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. 4. The respondents are represented. 5. Since the representation made by the petitioners on April 7, 2026 to the authorities of the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. is still pending, it would be in the fitness of thing to direct the added respondent i.e. the Project Manager, Paschim Bardhaman, Field Zonal Office, Spondon Complex, West Bengal to consider the petitioners’ representation (made through her advocate) dated April 7, 2026 (Annexure P-4 at pages 21 to 25 of the writ petition) within a period of four weeks from date upon affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. The Project Manger shall dispose of the petitioners’ representation by a reasoned order, in accordance with law within the period aforesaid and communicate such order to the petitioners within a period of one week from the date of passing thereof. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merit of the petitioners’ case and all points are left open to be urged by the petitioners before the Project Manager and to be considered by the Project Manager, in accordance with law. 7. Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations made against the respondents shall be deemed not to have been admitted. 8. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14689 of 2026 stands disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10.
