This Court, vide order dated 07.11.2023 passed in MCRC No. 7049 of 2023, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Harish Sharma, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on multiple occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 07.11.2023. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 4. The learned Special Judge, (Protection of Depositors Interest Act), Surajpur District-Surajpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.07.2026 has requested for grant of six month’s additional time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that criminal cases have been registered against the accused in various remote districts of the State of Chhattisgarh. The record further reveals that the prosecution witnesses are required to be summoned and examined in the present case. Owing to the logistical difficulties involved in securing the presence of the witnesses from different districts, the trial could not be concluded within the stipulated period. Accordingly, the learned trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of six months for recording the remaining evidence and concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
