P.P. --------- 02/30.03.2026 Heard Mrs. Kabisha Goenka, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 14(A)/2025, arising out of Godda (M) P.S. Case No. 180/2025. It has been alleged that one Satttan Mandal was apprehended by the Police and from his possession 1.586 Kg. of Ganja was recovered. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Sattan Mandal has been granted bail. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of Sattan Mandal. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.01.2026. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is suffering a disability of 70 percent. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the petitioner and the fact that the apprehended accused has been granted bail as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda in connection with N.D.P.S.
