The writ petitioners allege inaction on the part of the District Magistrate, Paschim Burdwan in disposing of the petitioners’ application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. 3. It is submitted by Mr. Singh, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners that the petitioners’ application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act has been pending since November 24, 2023. 4. Mr. Das Gupta, learned advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that step would be taken for expeditious disposal of the said application. 5. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and having considered the material on record, this writ petition is disposed of by requesting the District Magistrate, Paschim Burdwan to dispose of the petitioners’ application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a month from date. 6. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15028 of 2026 stands disposed of. 7. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
