The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 12.11.2025 passed by the writ Court in W.P.No.35516/2018. 2. The aforesaid writ petition was filed by the respondents, who have been working as Meter Readers for almost 19 years, seeking regularisation of their services in the appellant- Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM). The learned Single Judge has passed the following order:- - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34901-DB WA No. 846 of 2026 "i. Writ Petition is allowed. ii. The endorsement vide Annexure-A dated 02.08.2018 issued by the second respondent is hereby set aside. iii. The second respondent is directed to reconsider the representations of the petitioners in terms of the judgments passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of JAGGO vs. UNION OF INDIA - 2024 INSC 1034, DHARAM SINGH vs. STATE OF UP AND ANOTHER -2025 SCC OnLine SC 1735, SHRIPAL AND ANOTHER vs. NAGAR NIGAM, GHAZIABAD - (2025) 1 SCR 1427, and pass the appropriate orders in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of the receipt of copy of this order." 3. Mr. Ruben Jacob, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the appellants submits that the respondents have now completed more than 10 years' of service and if they submit a fresh representation for regularization of their services, the same will be considered sympathetically in accordance with the law, considering the fact that the respondents have put in 19 long years of service in the appellant-BESCOM. 4. Considering the said submission, we dispose of this writ appeal with a direction to the respondents to submit a fresh representation before the Managing Director of the appellant- BESCOM for their regularisation and the competent authority - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34901-DB WA No. 846 of 2026 should consider their representation sympathetically in accordance with the law, considering the fact that the respondents have put in 19 years of service in the employment of the appellant-BESCOM, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of filing of the representation. 5. With the aforesaid directions, the writ appeal stands disposed of. In view of disposal of the appeal, pending IAs, if any, do not survive for consideration and accordingly, they stand disposed of.
