Mr. Debasis Kar Ms. Paramita Mukherjee Mr. Arka Tilak Bhadra ….for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court, Berhampore, District-Murshidabad to dispose of Other Suit No.70 of 2019 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that a Co-ordinate Bench by an order dated December 5, 2025 in C.O. 4111 of 2025 directing the learned trial judge to dispose of the suit expeditiously within a period of six months from the next date fixed, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. From the order sheets appended to this application this Court finds that April 7, 2026 was fixed for cross- examination of DW 1. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the next date of cross-examination of DW 1 has been fixed sometimes in the month of August, 2026. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon 2 the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate for the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this civil revisional application along with this order upon the opposite parties or the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 2184 of 2026 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court, Berhampore, District-Murshidabad to make an endeavour to dispose of Other Suit No.70 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties keeping in mind that the direction passed by the Co-ordinate Bench on December 5, 2025 in C.O. 4111 of 2025.
