The petitioner is aggrieved by the pendency of its application under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (hereafter as the 2002 Act). 4. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act had been filed as far back as on January 03, 2024 and the same is still pending. 5. Mr.Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent submits that the petitioner’s application has been scheduled to be heard today. 6. Since it has been submitted that the matter is 2 scheduled to be heard today itself by the District Magistrate, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, South 24 Pargans to dispose of the petitioner application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of four weeks from date. 7. With the above observations, WPA 14744 of 2026 stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
