On the last date of hearing, i.e., 17.07.2026, this Court directed the petitioner to file an affidavit stating whether the amount of Rs.10,51,992/- had been withdrawn by the petitioner in the month of January, 2026. 2. In compliance with the aforesaid direction, the petitioner has filed an affidavit dated 20.07.2026, stating that the said GPF amount was withdrawn by her on 14.01.2026 and 01.02.2026. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is still claiming interest on the delayed release of the said GPF amount. He, therefore, seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authority by filing an appropriate application claiming interest on the delayed payment of the GPF amount, in accordance with law. 3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
