The petitioner is aggrieved by the non- consideration of the petitioner’s representation dated November 06, 2023 requesting for replacing of a defective meter in respect of an electricity connection to his submersible pump. 2. It is submitted that the said representation has been pending consideration for more than two and a half years. 3. Having heard the learned Advocates appearing for the respective parties and having considered the material-on-record, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Station Manager, Natunhat Customer Care Center, WBSEDCL, the respondent no.3 herein to dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated November 06, 2023 (Annexure P-2 at pages 14 and 15 of the writ petition) in accordance with 2 law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from date. 4. It is needless to mention that if the petitioner’s representation is found meritorious, the respondent WBSEDCL Authorities will take appropriate steps to replace the defective meters in accordance with law upon realization of appropriate charges and completion of necessary formalities. 5. WPA 29219 of 2023 stands disposed of. No costs. 6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
