CWP No.14621/2016 is modified in view of dictum passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Amit Kumar Dubey Vs. M.P.P.K.V.V. Co. Ltd. & Anr.: SLP (Civil) No(s).20902/2024 and it is held that the petitioner shall be entitled for a lump sum [2026:RJ-JP:8720-DB] (2 of 2) [SAW-1234/2022] compensation of Rs. 6,00,000/- instead of Rs. 2,00,000/-. (2) Payment shall be made, after adjusting the amount already paid, if any, within a period of three months from today failing which the amount shall carry interest @ 8% per annum after the expiry of the aforesaid period and the officer(s) responsible for delay would bear the interest component.
