Pending disposal of the main writ petition, it is further prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. INAPURAPU SURYANARAYANA Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR HOME 2. GP FOR REVENUE 3. GP FOR ENDOWMENTS The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.14841 of 2026 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a writ, more particularly a writ of mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to take action on the petition forwarded by the 2nd respondent/District Collector, by conducting an enquiry and taking appropriate action on the representations submitted by the petitioner on 25.04.2026 and 27.04.2026, including Grievance Cell Complaint No.KKD202604271000, which is presently pending before the 4th respondent, and to pass such other order or orders.…” 2. On perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner herein made representations dated 25.04.2026 and 27.04.2026 to the 2nd respondent-District Collector. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that after demise of petitioner’s father, the husband of the petitioner is taking care of maintenance and affairs of Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Temple situated at Srinivasa Nagar, Vakalapudi Panchayat, Kakinada Rural Mandal, Kakinada District, subsequent to the death of petitioner’s husband, the maintenance of the temple was handed over to the petitioner and on a meeting that was held on 23.02.2026, in the temple premises, wherein, it was announced that one Sri Pulapakura Murali, is the trustee of the temple instead of hereditary legal heir Smt.Pampana Kumari-petitioner. The 4 petitioner objected the said proposal, contending that political issues should not be introduced into temple affairs. In this regard, the petitioner herein made above representations for appropriate action. 4. Now, the present writ petition has been filed with a request to direct the concerned authorities to dispose of the representations dated 25.04.2026 and 27.04.2026, in accordance with law. 5. Heard Sri I.Suryanarayana, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents. 6. Both the learned counsel appearing on either side stated that the 2nd respondent has forwarded the said representations to the 4th respondent and the said representations are presently pending consideration before the 4th respondent-Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department. 7. As the prayer itself is innocuous, this Court is of the view that keeping the writ petition pending and inviting a counter-affidavit would serve no purpose. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, directing the 4th respondent to examine the petitioner’s representations dated 25.04.2026 and 27.04.2026, as expeditiously as possible, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and 5 communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications pending if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________________ JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO Date: 15.06.2026 KBN 6 63 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO Writ Petition No.14841 of 2026 15.06.2026 KKBBNN
