This writ petition has been filed alleging in connection on the part of the respondent WBSEDCL Authorities in effecting electricity supply to the petitioners submersible pump. 2. Mr. Bose, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner’s submits that after filing of the writ petition an inspection has been conducted by the respondent WBSEDCL Authorities in order to ascertain as to whether electricity supply can be effected to the petitioner’s submersible pump or not. 3. It is further submitted that however, quotation has not yet been issued. 4. Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the WBSEDCL Authorities submits that inspection has been conducted not once but twice. It is submitted that if everything is found to be in order, 2 the petitioner would be issued quotation within a week. 5. Having regard to the aforesaid fact situation, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent WBSEDCL Authorities to effect supply to the petitioner’s submersible pump, in case the petitioner is found eligible therefor and legally entitled thereto, and upon the petitioner complying with all the requisite formalities including payment of the requisite charges in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of compliance of the requisite formalities and payment requisite charges as aforesaid. 6. With the above observations, WPA 15439 of 2026 stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
