Pursuant to an e-tender floated by the Additional District Magistrate, Bankura and Additional Executive Officer, Bankura Zilla Parishad on March 23, 2018 and in terms of the work order issued in favour of the petitioner by the said authority on March 31, 2018, the petitioner completed the work of repairing the link road from Mukutmanipur to Pancha Pally Road to Peerless Lodge under Mukutmanipur Development Authority Fund under Khatra Police Station. Despite completion of such work and raising bills for the same, no payment has been made to the petitioner as yet. The petitioner submitted several representations before the concerned authorities in this regard but to no effect. The petitioner seeks consideration of the representations and payment of his dues. Learned counsels for the petitioner and the Zilla Parishad submit that the representations be directed to be considered by the District Magistrate, Bankura, being the 3rd respondent herein and the Executive Officer, Mukutmanipur Development Authority, being the 7th respondent herein. In view of the above, the 3rd and 7th respondent are directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on July 16, 2021, January 30, 2024 and August 08, 2024 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. In the event the said authorities arrive at a decision in favour of the petitioner, necessary consequential steps be taken at the earliest. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
