Learned counsel appearing for the EPF authority has placed a report dated 08.05.2025. A copy which has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent/PF authorities to disburse the contributory provident fund for the period that is from the joining of each of the petitioners till March 2002 along with interest till realization and also to disburse the pension to which the petitioners are entitled. 3. Admittedly, the establishment has closed down. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the initiative of a Special Officer appointed by the High Court, the contribution amount was deposited with the P.F. authorities and as such the petitioners are entitled to the same. 5. On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on considering the assurance given by the 2 learned counsel for the PF authorities that the matter shall be looked into diligently by the authorities on the basis of the records available with the P.F. authorities and on the petitioner filing a proper representation along with all supporting documents which shall also include the papers of the Special Officer if available, along with proper documents of identification. (Aadhar etc.) 6. The P.F. authority shall then consider the individual claim of the petitioners and on the basis of the records maintained by it and also the documents filed by the petitioner, on hearing all the parties, decide the claim of the petitioners within six months from the date of communication of this order, by passing a reasoned order, in accordance with law. 7. Writ application stands disposed of. 8. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently. 9. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 10. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities. [Shampa Dutt (Paul). J]
