Mr. Sunit Kumar Roy, Adv. … For SSC. 1. The petitioner’s application seeking transfer is pending consideration before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission since 2021. Prayer has been made to direct the authority to dispose of the said application. 2. Learned counsel for the School Service Commission submits, upon instruction, that in view of suspension of Utsashree portal, the Commission was not in a position to consider the application seeking transfer. 3. It appears that a considerable period of time has elapsed from the date when the application of the petitioner was forwarded to the Commission. There may have been change in circumstances in the meantime. 4. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the observation that it will be open 2 for the petitioner to file a fresh application seeking transfer in accordance with law in the online mode. 5. In the event online mode is non-functional, then the petitioner may file his application in the prescribed format in the offline mode. 6. If such application is made, it shall be considered by the authority strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from filing of the application. 7. The fate of the application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 8. If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay. 9. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of necessary formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
