Also heard Mr. M P Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. By this application filed under Section 528 read with Section 442 of the BNSS, 2023 the petitioner Smti. Rani Das has challenged the order dated 27.05.2025 passed in Petition Page No.# 2/2 No. 734/2025 by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati. The petitioner filed an application before the Court below seeking copies of 36 nos. of documents, which are part of the record. The trial court held that those documents are not crucial. Therefore, prayer for giving copies of those documents was rejected. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. The view taken by the trial court is against the law as laid down in Section 230 of the BNSS, 2023. The trial court is directed to give copies of those 36 nos. of documents sought for by the petitioner in Petition No. 734/2025. The criminal petition is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
