There are allegations of negotiating a contract killing. No doubt the allegations are scanty and prima facie in the FIR, there cannot be much material about it but looking to the nature of the allegations, we are of the opinion that this is a matter which requires thorough and unhindered investigation. We therefore, decline to interfere with the impugned FIR in exercise of our jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution. This petition fails and is dismissed. May 6, 2026 C.
