Learned Additional Government Advocate is directed to accept notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 2. Notice to respondent Nos.4 to 6 is dispensed with in view of the proposed ordered to be passed. 3. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "A. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent Nos.1 to 3, particularly the jurisdictional police, to forthwith consider and act upon the Petitioner's complaint / representation and provide effective police protection to the Petitioner to enter the property bearing Nos.40 and 41, Khatha No.259, situated at Puttenahalli Village, Uttarahalli Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk, now within BBMP/Bommanahalli limits, and to peacefully reside in one out of the twelve tenements / one self-contained residential portion therein; - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010452662026 NC: 2026:KHC:36084 WP No. 20483 of 2026 B. Direct Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to ensure that Respondent Nos. 4 to 6, their agents, henchmen or anybody claiming through them do not obstruct, threaten, intimidate or prevent the Petitioner from entering and residing in one such tenement in the schedule property except by due process of law; C. Grant such other order or relief as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 4. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has allegedly been thrown out of her house and the police is not giving protection to the petitioner to enter the house and stay in the said house. 5. The petitioner has already filed a complaint on 20.6.2026, in furtherance of which Crime No.200/2026 has been registered by the Puttenahalli Police Station, Jayanagara Sub-Division, making allegations against respondent Nos.4 to 6. It is for the official respondents to investigate the said matter and file a final report. A mandamus cannot be issued by this Court to the police to help the petitioner to provide security to the petitioner to enter - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010452662026 NC: 2026:KHC:36084 WP No. 20483 of 2026 into the property and enable her to live in that property. The same ex face is a civil dispute. 6. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum and obtain appropriate orders, the petition stands disposed of.
