The petitioner is in custody for one year eleven months and witness action till date has not commenced. Learned advocate for the petitioner, as such, prays for bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail as the involvement is of commercial quantity. Having considered the quantum seized, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. However, the petitioner be better advised to approach this court after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. The learned trial court would ensure that 2 the same is completed at the earliest preferably within three months from the date of communication of this order.
