15.07.2026 S/L No. 24 Ct. No. 4 (Naba) W.P.S.T. 73 of 2026
Biswaranjan Ghosh Versus The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Ms. Ananya Neogi, Ms. Anushka Ghosh ...for the Petitioner Ms. Chandreyi Alam, ld. A.G.P., Ms. Kakali Dutta ...for the State
1. Ms. Ananya Neogi, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits on instruction that she wants to withdraw the writ petition, so as to avail remedy before the Single Judge Bench taking up the determination of service matters.
2. She further submits that since the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal (for short ‘Tribunal’) is not functional for want of a member, she cannot withdraw the Original Application for availing remedy before the Writ Court.
3. In view of such submission, we dispose of the present Writ Petition, and dismiss the Original Application bearing O.A. No. 304 of 2015, pending before the Tribunal, with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy, as prayed for.
