HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT PETITION NO: 15295/2026 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed seeking an order directing the 4th respondent not to illegally summon or interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioner contending that at the instance of the 5th respondent, wife of the brother of the petitioner, the petitioner has been summoned. 2. Answering the same, the learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit on the basis of written instructions that written representation is given by the 5th respondent about missing of her husband and in connection with such man-missing case, the petitioner has been summoned and there is no illegal interference. 3. Upon considering the factual matrix and also recording the undertaking of the petitioner that he will cooperate in connection with the investigation of missing complaint, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent- police not to unnecessarily summon the petitioner and to strictly follow BNSS.
