JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER Date : 16.03.2026 Heard Mr. Tawhid Laskar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S.H. Borah, learned Addl. P.P for the State. The petitioner in AB/354/2026 is the owner of the betel-nut which was being carried in the truck involved in the incident, while the petitioner in AB/424/2026 is the owner of the truck. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying for the grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioners. 3. The FSL report revealed that no narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances were detected in the samples sent for forensic test. 4. Accordingly, these anticipatory bail petitions in respect of Salim Uddin , Son of Ajijur Rahaman, and Jahed Ikbal, Son of Islam Uddin, are allowed. In the event of the arrest of the petitioners in connection with Lanka P.S. Case 265/ 2025 registered under Sections 21 (C)/ 29/ 27 A of NDPS Act, the petitioners shall be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each along with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Authority of aforesaid case, subject to the following conditions: (i) That the accused/applicants shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence of the instant case in any manner; and (ii) That the accused/applicants shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case Page No.# 3/3 by appearing before the I.O of the case, as and when call for by the I.O. (iii) That the accused/applicants will not try to establish communication with informant and/or witnesses in any manner whatsoever. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
