1. The present petition has been the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 and to take action on the representation dated 04.07.2026 (Annexure P
2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have recently filed a representation on 04.07.2026 before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur (Annexure P-5) raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon.
