LILABATI DAS Mr. Akash Munshi Mr. Suryaneel Das .........for the State The instant appeal is directed against an order dated 05.12.2019 passed by the Land Acquisition Tribunal under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1893. By the impugned order, the referring claimant has been awarded a sum of Rs. 54,97,000/- together with interest at the rate of 12 % per annum on such market value of Rs. 27,48,500/- for the period commencing on and from 22.09.2011 till 30.07.2015 less the period from 06.07.2012 to 23.04.2014. It is submitted on behalf of the appellant that in view of the decision passed in the State of West Bengal Vs. Sraddhananda Basu in FAT No. 516 of 2019 with CAN 4 of 2023 with FAT No. 3 of 2019 with CAN 2 of 2022 Sraddhananda Basu Vs. Land Acquisiton Collector, Hooghly dated 08.05.2025, there is no purpose in proceeding any further with this appeal. 2 In such circumstances, FAT 276 of 2020 stands dismissed as not pressed.
