Heard on the application seeking extension of time to conclude the pending proceedings. 2. This Court in WPL No.67 of 2022 directed respondent No.2 to conclude the proceedings initiated against the petitioner under the provisions of the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 3. Mr. Pillai, learned counsel appearing for the applicant would contend that further period of 30 days may be granted to conclude the pending proceedings. He would submit that despite all endeavours, the concerned authority could not conclude the proceedings within the period granted by this Court. 4. Heard. 5. Having considered the submissions made by Mr. Pillai and reasons assigned in the application, prayer is allowed. Respondent No.2 is granted further period of 30 days from today to conclude the pending proceedings after affording due opportunity of hearing to the contesting parties. 6.
