Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 1st August, 2024 for a period of 1 year 10 months and till date, out of sixteen (16) witnesses cited in the charge-sheet, six (06) witnesses have been examined. 3. Learned advocate for the State on the other hand refers to the seizure-list which was seized from the leading statement of the present petitioner. The same reflects recovery of more than Rs. 3,50,000/- cash. In the T.I. parade, the present accused has also been identified. 2 4. Having considered the gravity of the offence particularly with regard to the whole of the offence which involves Rs. 40 to 45 lakhs cash along with 20/25 voris of gold ornament, 5 silver coins and other accessories, I am of the opinion that the case requires trial. 5. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected, however, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the process of trial and no unnecessary adjournments be given to either of the parties and the trial of the case would continue in spite of the resolution of the local bar. 6. With the aforesaid observations, CRM (M) 1176 of 2026 is dismissed. 7. All parties shall act in terms of the server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
