1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 01.07.2023. It is further submitted that the RAHUL JHA Digitally signed by RAHUL JHA Date: 2026.07.22 16:19:29 +0530
2 Controlling Authority, vide order dated 06.11.2025, directed payment of gratuity to the petitioner. However, till date, the gratuity amount as determined by the Controlling Authority has not been disbursed to the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the State submits that due to certain technical issues, the gratuity amount could not be disbursed to the petitioner. She, however, submits that the same shall be disbursed within a period of 30 days.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, particularly the statement made on behalf of the respondents that the gratuity amount shall be disbursed within a period of 30 days, the instant writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to ensure that the gratuity amount, as determined by the Controlling Authority vide
order dated 06.11.2025, is released to the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. It is made clear that in the event the aforesaid amount is not released within the stipulated period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail such remedy as may be available to her in accordance with law. Sd/- (BIBHU DATTA GURU)
