GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.566 OF 2026 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a Writ or Writs more appropriately a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent for not considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21-10-2025 and dated 25-10-2025 in pursuance to the inquiry report submitted by Inspector Auditor Wakfs, Chittoor District issued a memo F.No.03/IAW/CTR/2025 dated 20-09-2025 as illegal, void, and unconstitutional in the interest of justice and equity and to pass such other order or orders…” 2. The Inspector Auditor Wakfs, Chittoor, vide proceedings dated 20.09.2025, conducted an enquiry and recommended to constitute a managing committee of the Jamiya Mashid situated at Masjid Street, Karveti Nagaram, Village and Mandal, Chittoor District, to safeguard the Waqf institution and to take necessary action in the interest of Waqf. However, the 2nd respondent has not acted upon the recommendation of the Inspector Auditor Wakfs, Chittoor District. Hence, present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representations, dated 21.10.2025 and 25.10.2025, pursuant to the enquiry report of the Inspector Auditor Wakfs, Chittoor. 3. Heard Sri Md Abdul Mateeen Qureshi, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s grievance pursuant to the report submitted by the Inspector Auditor Wakfs, Chittoor. 5. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 submits that respondent No.2 will pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 4 6. Considering the submissions made by both the learned counsel, without going into merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representations dated 21.10.2025 and 25.10.2025, pursuant to the report submitted by the Inspector Auditor Wakfs vide proceedings dated 20.09.2025, to constitute a managing committee of the Jamiya Mashid situated at Masjid Street, Karveti Nagaram, Village and Mandal, Chittoor District, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
