Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) Issue a writ of Certiorari, Mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction for quashing the order dated 29.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) and further any 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:5445 subsequent order's regarding service of the petitioner, which has not been communicated to the petitioner and kept in the official file for all intents and purposes. ii) Issue a writ of Certiorari, Mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction, by directing the Respondents No. 1 to 3 to allow the petitioner to perform/discharge her duties/service with the respondent's department till the attaining the age of superannuation for all intents and purposes. Iii) Issue a writ of Certiorari, Mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction, by directing the Respondents No.1 to 3 to regularize the service of the petitioner as Social Extension Officer after completion of six years of contractual service w.e.f. 11.07.2014 Or alternatively w.e.f 01.01.1.2015 with all consequential benefits and eligible service may kindly be ordered to be released 203 in favour of the petitioner with in time bound manner along with 12% interest. iv) Issue a writ of Certiorari, Mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction, by directing the Respondents No. 1 to 3 to treat the period w.e.f. 01.09.2025 to till the date of re-joining her duties to continuity of service for all intents and purposes and pay 3 2026:HHC:5445 the salary to the petitioner for aforesaid period along with 12% interest within time bound manner.” 2. A perusal of the documents appended with the petition demonstrates that pursuant to the direction passed by this Court in the earlier writ filed by the petitioner i.e. CWP No. 3006 of 2024, titled Smt. Shokeen Bibi Vs. State of H.P. & Ors., decided on 09.04.2024, the Authority concerned passed an order Annexure P-5, with the observation that no action can be taken in the matter till the outcome of the matter before Hon’ble Apex Court in Sant Ram’s case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted by referring to Annexure P-8 that now the judgment in Sant Ram’s case has attained finality as even the Review Petition preferred by the State before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India stands dismissed. 4. In light of this development, this petition is disposed of with the direction that now a fresh call be taken in the case of the petitioner, in terms of the directions earlier passed by this Court in CWP No. 3006 of 2024, titled Smt. Shokeen Bibi Vs. State of H.P. & Ors. (supra), within a period of four weeks from 4 2026:HHC:5445 today, positively. This Court would further like to observe that now as the judgment in Sant Ram’s case has attained finality and in case the matter of the petitioner is covered by the said judgment, then the respondents shall make an endeavour to confer the requisite benefits to the petitioner rather than trying to side step the matter. 5.
