The Petitioner seeks a direction to the Facilitation Council under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (MSMED, for short) to dispose of the pending reference under Section 18 of the said Act. During the course of hearing Mr. Geetesh Shetye, learned Additional Government Advocate, on instruction from the Authority, submits that by order on 12.12.2025, the Authority has directed the Petitioner to place before it an interest calculation claimed by the Petitioner till 30.07.2025. According to the instructions, such 7th July, 2026 6 WP 524 2026 calculation sheets have been placed by the Petitioner before the Authority. 3. The Petitioner submits that the calculation has been submitted; however, now undertakes to submit a calculation of interest not just up to 30.07.2025 but till 07.07.2026. This calculation will be submitted by 24.07.2026 when the parties would appear before the authorities at 3.00pm and place the calculation on record. Once the calculations are placed on record, we request the Facilitation Council to keep in mind the fact that the date for disposal of the arbitration proceedings has now been extended till 16.08.2026. Keeping that date in mind, we request the Facilitation Council to dispose of the proceedings before it expeditiously. 4. In our opinion, nothing further is required to be directed in this petition.
