HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT PETITION NO: 15288/2026 ORDER: This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.1 in interfering with the civil dispute relating to the land in an extent of Ac.0-15 cents situated in Sy.No.198 of Thondapadu Village, Gooty Mandal, Ananthapur District and encouraging respondent Nos.4 and 5 in creating Law and Order problems, as illegal and arbitrary and direct them not to interfere in civil disputes. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the land in question was not allotted to anybody, and that two groups are claiming rights over the said land. It is submitted that, when there was some disturbance between the parties, the police intervened to pacify the same and they advised both parties to avail proper legal remedies through Court. It is further submitted that they have also addressed a letter to the Mandal Executive Magistrate, Gooty seeking clarification regarding issuance of ownership certificate. In response thereto, the Mandal Executive Magistrate, Gooty has given a reply stating that the subject land has not allotted to anybody and it is classified as grama Kantham land. The learned Assistant Government Pleader further submits that the 4 police are not interfering with the civil disputes and they have advised both the parties to approach competent civil Court. 4. In view of the written instructions placed on record and the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the respondent-police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties, and recording the same, this Court finds that no further orders are required in the matter. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ A.
